Q1: Do I need to login to view the website?

No, but some content is available only to registered users who are a member of a DERC or DRTC center.
 

Q2: How can I get an account and becone a registered user?

You can fill out an account request.  We wil review it and respond within 24 hours.

Q3: I forgot my password, how do I get a new one?

You can request a new password here. It will ask you for either your username or your email address that you used when you registered for the account.

Q4: How can I update or correct information about my Center or Core?

You can send email to site.admin@diabetescenters.org and we will provide a link to upload or change your information.

Q6: I have a publication that should be listed on the website.  How do I add it?

Please email the PubMed ID [PMID] or the Citation to site.admin@diabetescenters.org.  Please indicate if this should be considered for a featured publication.

Q7: How do I submit content for the "Centers In The News" or "Funding Opportunities" sections of the website?

You can send email to site.admin@diabetescenters.org with:
Centers In The News: A short description of the News item, indicating which center it is from and the URL of the Press Release.
Funding Opportunity: A short description of the Funding Opportunity and the URL to the site with further information.
We will review the requests and reply within 48 hours.

Q8: What criteria were used to create the list of Center Publications?

To create the list of Publications for each of the DERC and DRTC Centers, the GrantID for each Center was used as the search term in pubmed search.  The Centers GrantID may be cited when an individual, Center Core or Resource made a significant contrubution to the work published.

Q9: Where did the images come from that make up the banner on the home page, may I sue one of them?

The banner images have been taken from Center Researchers or Websites.  More infomation about them, including their availability can be found here.
